It is so hard to believe that this semester is in the home stretch! It seems like yesterday we were waiting on the leadership team to arrive for our planning retreat.
And YET here we are! This “view from Friday” is coming from Sunday evening (oops)- sorry about that. With football game on football game on football game going in the background, it just feels like Thanksgiving. Students are living for the tiny break between class and exam madness, time to spend with family and friends, being thankful. I am thankful for sweet students who are inviting international students home for thanksgiving, and praying for an opportunity for them to share the gospel!
Last Friday, during my usual planning and writing time, I was cooking my second turkey ever. Success. The staff women and student intern girls gathered for our own Thanksgiving celebration. I am so thankful for these women, who I join daily on campus with the task of making Christ’s name known. Please pray for them, as they are seniors and preparing for their first year out in the big, real world! Pray that God would give them clarity for the future and focus for the present.
Love you all! Hope you have a great week!
